Meeting Held to Review Progress of Mansourabad, Binak Projects

TEHRAN (PEDCO) -- The acting CEO of PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) and several top managers from the subsidiary group of companies convened in a meeting with the project owner and contractor to discuss the progress of ongoing projects and outline new strategies to expedite their execution.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of PEDCO, during the session attended by the engineering and construction manager and other executives of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), as well as Mansour Mehrshad, the acting CEO of PEDCO, Ramin Hatami, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Naser Moulavi, the CEO's senior advisor, Ali Purkabirian, legal affairs manager, Nima Baqersaie, CEO of Petrosahel-e-Ofogh Kish, Hamid Salahshoor, supervisor of financial affairs at PEDCO, Ali Sadeghian, supervisor of the Mansourabad project, and Sasan Faramarzpour, supervisor of the Binak project, a report was presented on the latest status of the Binak and Mansourabad projects.

The current obstacles and ongoing issues of each project were discussed, followed by a presentation of the strategies by PEDCO to advance the Binak and Mansourabad projects, after mutual exchanges of opinions between the parties. Synergy and enhanced capabilities between the project owner and contractors in executing the projects were underscored during the meeting.

Ali Reza Pakdaman, the engineering and construction manager of the NISOC, emphasized the synergy and complementary enhancement of existing capabilities through effective interaction and cooperation between related projects and their execution and pursuit.

He presented his viewpoint on improving the performance of the project cluster and stated, "Enhancing the capacity of the engineering and construction management of the NISOC, especially through the integration of projects related to the 28 reservoirs, is among the most crucial activities on our agenda.

" Continuing the session, Pakdaman examined the viewpoints and suggestions of the managers from PEDCO and expressed hope for the expedited completion of the Binak and Mansourabad projects.

Pakdaman, while thanking the representatives of the contractors, considered the conducted meeting as effective and promising and emphasized the necessity of periodic meetings of such nature.

Designing a predictable system to accelerate project execution was highlighted by Ibrahim Piramoun, the executor of the maintenance and production increase plan at the NISOC.

He stressed, "Interaction between the principal and major contractors is highly significant. The opinions of the principal and contractors should be considered, and project delays should not be entangled in minor issues. Rather, principals and contractors should design a system considering various influential factors to expedite project completion.

" He emphasized the seriousness and dedication of the company in completing the Mansourabad and Binak projects and deemed achieving the production goal from these fields as a national duty.

Mansour Mehrshad, the supervisor of Petro Iran, expressed gratitude for the collaboration of the principal team, especially in finalizing the rate adjustment and payment method. He emphasized the seriousness and dedication of the company in completing the Mansourabad and Binak projects.

Ramin Hatami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PEDCO, highlighted the nature of this company, merging the NISOC and PEDCO into a unified entity, considering the concerns raised by the principal for advancing the projects as vital and facilitative.

Continuing the meeting, Sasan Faramarzpour, the Binak project supervisor, stressed the importance of preserving national resources and preventing gas wastage across the country. He identified the completion of the Binak gas pressure boosting station as the top priority for this project.

Mehdi Sadeghian, the Mansourabad project supervisor, considered the completion of six well rings in this field as a significant achievement.

He prioritized the completion of drilled wells and stated, "Currently, the Mansourabad project is facing a 33% progress."

Highlighting the strategy for the Mansourabad project, he emphasized, "The plan's priority is to construct and commission the cluster booster.

The drilling rig will be stationed at location EO2501 in the Mansourabad field after resolving various issues arising from local opposition in the coming days."
