AHVAZ, Jan. 11 (PEDCO) – The 15th Khuzestan Oil Industry Exhibition kicked off with overwhelming success, as the PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO)’s booth attracted significant attention from visitors on the opening day, continuing its tradition of high engagement at the event.
The exhibition is currently underway at the International Exhibition Center in Ahvaz, with the participation of several key officials from the Ministry of Petroleum.
The opening day saw strong attendance, with representatives from various companies in the oil industry engaging in meaningful exchanges.
On the first day of the event, Ali Daghayeghi, PEDCO CEO, visited multiple booths and engaged in discussions regarding ongoing oil projects, upcoming initiatives, and industry issues with both client and contracting companies.
Daghayeghi also met with the CEOs and senior executives of companies such as Arvandan, the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), North Drilling Company, and other major industry players, focusing on each company’s capabilities and the latest technical and engineering services.
The 15th Khuzestan Oil Industry Exhibition provides a valuable platform for fostering international relations and expanding the export of technical and engineering services to neighboring countries and international markets.
This event also serves as a showcase for the latest achievements and technologies from domestic producers and suppliers of goods and equipment in the oil and gas sector.
The exhibition, which began on January 11, 2025, features 284 industrial units from 15 provinces. Among these, 114 units, representing 40 percent, are knowledge-based companies, making up the largest share of exhibitors.
Manufacturing companies occupy the second position with 33 percent, represented by 94 units, while companies offering technical services and supplying strategic items account for 27 percent of the exhibitors, totaling 76 units.
The 15th Khuzestan Oil Industry Exhibition will continue until January 14, 2025, and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for industry professionals, experts, and oil enthusiasts.
