TEHRAN, Feb. 3 (PEDCO) – PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) played an active role in the First International Geoenergy Conference and the Fifth National Geomechanics Conference, underscoring its commitment to the latest advancements in energy and geomechanics technology.
The event, held from February 4 to 6, 2025, at the Civil Engineering Faculty of K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran, brought together experts in geoenergy and geomechanics to discuss cutting-edge scientific and technological developments.
Hosted by the Oil Industry Productivity Research Institute of K. N. Toosi University, the conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange and industrial collaboration in these vital sectors.
PEDCO, represented by its technical management and investment and business development departments, engaged in discussions on topics such as the latest geoenergy technologies, carbon dioxide and natural gas sequestration, enhanced oil recovery, the development of oil and gas fields, deep well drilling, and geothermal wells.
Another key topic covered was geomechanical modeling and geophysical exploration.
As part of the formal proceedings, all accepted papers will be indexed in the Civilica database and the National Content Consortium, contributing to the advancement of academic and industry research in Iran’s oil and energy sectors.
