TEHRAN, April 9 (PEDCO) — Ali Daghayeghi, CEO of PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO), paid a visit to the home of Farshid Hezavehei, a distinguished figure in Iran’s oil industry renowned for both scientific achievements and athletic excellence, to offer New Year greetings and check on his health.
The visit took place on Wednesday, April 9, with several company executives and technical staff accompanying the CEO.
Welcomed warmly by Hezavehei’s family, Daghayeghi presented gifts and expressed his well-wishes for a full recovery.
He also emphasized the importance of continued access to Hezavehei’s extensive knowledge and expertise within PEDCO.
Hezavehei, a top-ranked graduate in petroleum exploration engineering from the University of Tehran and an inaugural member of the National Iranian Oil Company’s elite scholars program, has contributed to PEDCO since its inception.
His background includes offshore drilling operations and teaching at the University of Tehran’s Petroleum Institute.
Despite recent illness and resulting disability, Hezavehei remains active in producing educational content and recording advanced drilling courses.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, he has also earned national recognition in athletics, including championships in track and field, table tennis, and Qur’an recitation.
