PEDCO CEO Marks Persian New Year With Message of Renewal, Unity
TEHRAN, March 17 (PEDCO) – The CEO of PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) has extended his warmest wishes to colleagues and the Iranian nation ahead of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, calling it a time for reflection, renewal, and collective hope for a prosperous future.
In a message shared on Wednesday, the CEO said the arrival of Nowruz 1404, which coincides this year with the holy month of Ramadan, offers a powerful moment for introspection and moral rejuvenation.
"In the vast expanse of existence, as time flows and nature turns, Nowruz is an invitation to renew our spirit and recommit to human values," the message read.
"This ancient celebration heralds the arrival of spring, the blossoming of life, and a fresh beginning rooted in effort, hope, and solidarity.
"
He emphasized that Nowruz is more than just a date on the calendar—it is a reminder of humanity’s potential for growth and transformation, much like nature itself. "We, too, can blossom—charting new paths, building brighter futures with determination and unity," he said.
This year, the convergence of Nowruz with Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection observed by Muslims worldwide, provides what he described as “a doubled opportunity for self-purification and inner growth.
”
Referencing Iran’s supreme leader, he expressed hope that the coming year would bring progress, unity, and prosperity to the nation. He closed by wishing health, success, and brighter days to all PEDCO staff and their families.
The message reflects a broader cultural and spiritual moment in Iran, where Nowruz—a UNESCO-recognized intangible heritage—continues to serve as a unifying celebration across ethnic and religious lines, marking the first day of spring and the beginning of the solar Hijri calendar.
