TEHRAN, April 19 (PEDCO) — PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) has launched the mechanical phase of its Binak Project, marking a significant step forward in the construction of large-scale storage tanks and laying the groundwork for subsequent operational stages.
The intensified project pace follows enhanced coordination between project management, key contractors, technical units, and support teams.
Regular planning sessions have driven measurable progress while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality benchmarks.
The mechanical phase includes the construction of firewater and glycol storage tanks at the Binak compression station. The tanks, with a combined nominal capacity of 2.5 million liters, are being built to international standards, including those set by the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Project managers expect the firewater tanks to be completed by late June, with the glycol tank scheduled for finalization and testing by the end of July.
Once operational, these installations will not only enhance safety at the new station but also serve as a foundational infrastructure for upcoming phases of the project.
The acceleration aligns with PEDCO’s commitment to meeting project deadlines and delivering high-impact energy infrastructure with domestic capabilities.
