AHVAZ, April 25 (PEDCO) — In a bid to enhance technical knowledge and operational integration, head office employees of PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) participated in a three-day field visit to drilling sites in Khuzestan, including the Ahvaz oil field.
The initiative was part of PEDCO’s 2025 training and development program, aimed at narrowing the gap between administrative and operational divisions.
Close-Up View of Advanced Drilling Operations
During the visit, staff observed live drilling activities, familiarized themselves with advanced equipment, and engaged directly with field engineers and technicians.
Detailed briefings covered critical systems such as drilling mechanics, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Bridging Theory and Practice
Employees used the opportunity to exchange insights with on-site experts, learning about real-world challenges in drilling management and oil extraction optimization.
The program served as a valuable platform for cross-functional knowledge transfer between headquarters and field operations.
Strategic Focus on Field-Based Learning in 2025
PEDCO plans to expand such field visits and technical workshops throughout the year as part of its broader strategy to enhance workforce skills, improve interdepartmental communication, and drive operational excellence.
