TEHRAN, April 6 (PEDCO) — PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO) has successfully renewed its international certifications for integrated management systems across its subsidiaries, the company announced on Saturday.
The certifications were issued for PEDCO, PetroIran Kish Development Company, and Drilling Company International Ltd., and will remain valid for the next three years.
The renewed certifications cover the following internationally recognized standards:
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 29001:2020 (Oil and Gas Sector Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
These certifications were granted under the accreditation of Austria’s national accreditation authority.
In addition, at PEDCO, certifications for Project Management (ISO 21502:2020) and Risk Management (ISO 31000:2018) were also audited and renewed for one year.
These audits were conducted and validated by the Certification Monitoring and Compliance Evaluation Institute of Iran, the exclusive partner of TÜV Austria in the country.
The audits took place over three consecutive days at the end of the Iranian year 1403 (March 2025), covering company headquarters in Tehran, project sites, and operational zones.
Final approval from audit teams confirmed the extension of certifications and emphasized the continuation of improvement initiatives.
