TEHRAN, Jan 22 (PEDCO) – Drilling Company International Ltd. (DCI), a subsidiary of PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO), has successfully completed a rigorous external audit process, renewing its suite of international management system certifications, the company said on Monday.
The recertification audit covered four major standards: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 29001:2020 (Oil and Gas Sector Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
The audit was conducted by the Conformity Assessment and Surveillance of Iran (CASI), the exclusive Iranian partner of TUV Austria, over a three-day period from December 18 to 20, 2024.
Mohammad Hossein Dayani, Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) at Drilling International, stated that the audit focused on evaluating process documentation, operational records, and the effectiveness of integrated management systems.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of risk management practices, project monitoring, and the resolution of non-conformities identified in previous audits.
“All staff, managers, and operational units involved in drilling projects were engaged through interviews and field assessments, following a sampling-based audit model,” Dayani added.
The successful completion of this audit marks the fourth consecutive cycle of ISO recertification for the company and reflects its commitment to operational excellence, safety, and environmental sustainability in the upstream energy sector.
