Scope of Work
- Collecting, certifying and interpreting data, preparing reservoir models, and proposing the strategy for optimum development of the field.
- Drilling and completing 6 new horizontal wells ( 3 multilaterals and 3 single producers ).
- Drilling and extending the open hole section of the existing well.
- Construction of a wellhead platform.
- Providing production facilities including Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, mooring system and flexible pipe to transfer crude oil from wellhead platform to the FPSO vessel.
Objectives
- Production of up to 35,000 bpd of crude oil in the 1st development phase.
- Evaluating production enhancement of the field, and identifying new producing layers.
- Appraising the field and evaluating the possibility of the 2nd phase development.
Achievements
Status: 45.46% physical progress (including the additional works and updating the weight factors for calculating project progress)
> Sub-surface Studies
- Updated production forecast based on reservoir model updates using information obtained from drilling.
- Full field reservoir static and dynamic models were developed and later revised with latest available data.
- Finalized depth structure map of reservoirs
> Drilling Operations
- Drilling six new wells through the sub sea drilling template
- Compiling completion and drilling equipment list required for the tie-back and completion operation
- Preparing preliminary drilling schedule for completion phase.
> Offshore surface facilities
- The engineering design contract for the W.H.Platform was awarded to a contractor(Tecnomare) and the work was completed on December 2006.
- The received proposals of FPSO Providers are under evaluation and discussion.
- The platform's jacket fabrication was started by WHP ePCI contractor (SAFF).
- The pipeline engineering is completed.
Contract Price and Duration
The project duration is estimated 52 months (due to changes in work scope as per Final Master Development Plan).
