Project Name :

Jufeyr Field Development Operations consists of Early Production, 1st Phase of Development and the 2nd Phase of Development.

Location :

Jufeyr field is located in Khuzestan Province, south west of Iran with a distance of 50 km from Ahwaz city.

Scope of work (Phase 1):

• Early Production activities (part of Phase-1):

  -          3D seismic interpretation.

  -          Reservoir study – modeling and updating.

  -          Drilling and completion of one (1) main Ilam producer well (new).

  -          Work over two (2) of the existing wells.

  -          Logging, coring, PVT sampling, well test, similar to activities which are mentioned in  appraisal well program, should be carried out in the appraisal well (JR-4) drilling of which is in progress now. If any part of the above mentioned activities down to the base of Sarvak oil zone could not be achieved in the well JR-4, it would be implemented in the new producer well (item 3 above). The appraisal well will be completed as an oil producer.

  -          Construction of 40 KM pipelines (6" flowline & 10" pipeline), header and installation of metering system for fluid measurement to use as custody meter

   

• Environmental Baseline Study (EBS) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Reservoir study – models updating.
• Drilling and completion of eight (8) oil producers (including Early Production wells).
• Workover three (3) of 4 existing wells (including early production wells).
• Facilities Front End Engineering and Design (FEED).
• Construction and installation of oil flowlines, oil and associated gas and water processing facilities and utilities, oil transfer and water disposal pipelines.
• Construction of buildings such as Tehran/Ahwaz offices, temporary and permanent camp, warehouse, workshop, security, transportation, medical and sport.
• Studies related to Improved Oil Recovery/Enhanced Oil Recovery (IOR/EOR) application.

Scope of work (Phase 2):

• Environmental Baseline Study (EBS) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Reservoir study – models updating.
• Facilities Front End Engineering and Design (FEED).
• Drilling and completion of five (5) oil producers.
• Workover one (1) of 4 existing wells to water disposal.
• Construction and installation of oil flowlines, oil and associated gas processing facilities, oil transfer line to Ahwaz Booster Station (ABS), local power plant and re-injection facilities of disposal water.
• Construction of water supply and disposal water pipelines
• Studies related to Improved Oil Recovery/Enhanced Oil Recovery (IOR/EOR) application.

Objectives (Stage 1):

• To achieve an Early Production level of 6,000* STBO/day within 13 months from effective date.
• To achieve 1st Production level of 15,000 STBO/day within 31 months from effective date.
• Evaluate EOR/IOR and unproved area development options and proposes the optimum development plan.

Objectives (Stage 2):

• To achieve 2^nd Production level of 25,000 STBO/day within 63 months from effective date.
• Evaluate IOR/EOR and unproved area development options and proposes the optimum development plan.
